MY STORY
“It’s just a bunch of old buildings…”
That’s what I told myself before I went to Egypt. Just a kid’s fantasy born of boredom and hours spent flipping through encyclopedias dreaming of an ancient civilization. A memory that I had attributed to a movie — except the movie I thought I had watched didn’t exist. Scenes that occasionally flashed through my mind in dreams and visions, fleeting and ephemeral.
I was trying to contain my expectations. “You’re not journeying through time, you’re just journeying to an archaeological site” I had to remind myself a hundred times a day.
Yet… there was something else going on. Something big. Because the first time I hopped on the informational call for the trip, I had to go off video because I couldn’t stop the flood of tears that overtook me as our trip leader walked us through the itinerary of sites we were going to visit. The tears returned EVERY SINGLE TIME anyone asked me about my upcoming trip. I couldn’t explain it. I had no idea what to make of it.
“Welcome home” is what the Egyptians say to you when you arrive at the airport in Cairo. They say that because they believe that Egypt was the cradle of civilization and that all of us have had past lives in Egypt.
I still can’t explain it. All I know is the hype is real. There is energy in these sites, activations, memories, codes. It unlocks something ancient and powerful. A message in a bottle. A love letter from the past.
Egypt saved me during the darkest initiation that I have ever known, after an experience that shattered not just my heart, but my whole identity and sense of self, and left me questioning everything I thought I knew about life, love, faith, and spirituality.
I believe it can save you too.
HIGHLIGHTS OF MY PATH
Rooted in Practice: 20+ years of devotion to spiritual exploration and the healing arts.
Yoga Teacher and Seeker: 8+ years teaching yoga, including leading a Yoga Sutras study group, and 3+ years immersed in ashrams and spiritual communities embodying yoga as a way of life.
Depth Psychology and Dreams: A brief period of study at Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I learned the practice of Dream Tending from Dr. Steve Aizenstat.
Shamanic Influences: Initiation rites with the Q’ero shamans of Peru and Dr. Gene Ang’s White Wolf Shamanic Practitioner Training at Mount Shasta.
Eastern Origins: Several years of practice and transmissions in the Drikung Kagyu vajrayana lineage of Tibetan Buddhism; student of Sanskrit, mantra shastra, and kirtan; Muslim by birth.
Priestess Path: Devotee of the Goddess in all Her forms; with countless hours spent in deep ceremony and ritual from new moon circles to medicine wheels, pujas to pagan sabbaths.
Egyptian Mysteries: Two pilgrimages to Egypt, answering a deep soul call to the temples, receiving initiations and activations that infuse the courses I teach.
Scientist and Mystic: PhD ABD in Physics and Silicon Valley marketing executive, bridging the worlds of technology, science and spirit.
Embodied Channel : A vessel for unseen energies, holding sacred space for healing and transformation.
